FORECAST: Cool Start, Warm Finish

With light winds and mainly clear skies, overnight lows will be even cooler than they were last night.

With a lot of dry air in place, temperatures can change quickly from night to daylight at this time of year.

That will be the case as we head from tonight into tomorrow afternoon.

Clear skies and light winds beneath a chilly area of high pressure will allow our temperatures to drop into the middle 40s tonight in places like Flint and Saginaw.

Outlying areas north and west of the Tri-Cities could even drop as low as the upper 30s!

But dry air can heat up quickly, and with almost full sunshine Friday afternoon and a southwest wind, we'll recover into the middle to upper 70s for highs.
