This next week is a wet one, with some heat thrown in the mix.
We start off with showers entering the area during Monday morning; timing is still looking to be after 8am.
I am expecting a few small thunderstorms thrown in the mix, one or two in the morning with the passing front, but mostly a few rumbles once the daytime heat begins to lift off.
The attached cold front stalls out as a stationary front to our south, and the next low pressure system rides along it as it barrels into Michigan.
This system strikes Thursday, and it certainly has some force to it.
Expect widespread showers and, at this time, I am calling for multiple scattered thunderstorms.
I am staying away from severe weather at this time.
My gut says to expect at least small hail with several storms later in the day however due to the abundance of surface heating and a few models suggesting enough unstable air.
And yes, that does say 67 degrees, followed very quickly by another chance of light snow and 29 degrees overnight Friday.
It seems once we get some warmth it runs away very quickly.
Most forecast models are in agreement with the coming week, and the only uncertainty is with timing and overall temperature effects on Thursday.
As always, stay with the NBC25 Weather team and we will make sure to keep you up to date on any changes.
