Spring showers have arrived.
Showers are likely overnight and if I had to pick one word to describe this forecast, it would be rain.
The chance remains for a rumble of thunder or two between midnight and 8am as a cold front pushes through.
Along with this front are the strong winds we have begun to feel through today.
Tomorrow, showers taper off after the morning and we should get some sun, which will be the main feature in our northern counties.
Midland, Bay City, and Saginaw areas should expect winds to gust well into the 30 mph range and possibly even push 40.
Showers continue with strong chances Monday and Wednesday, with Monday being the next chance for a thunderstorm; don't expect anything severe.
Any storms we get should be mainly brief heavy downpours, the type you expect to welcome the onset of April showers.
Temps remain in the 50's and should cool off a bit by the end of the week, but bump up again as we start the weekend.
I went with some cloud cover still on Saturday, but expect some sun to begin the weekend.
