FORECAST: Severe Weather Possible

The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has much of the Great Lakes Region in a Slight Risk of severe weather.

For the most part, a hot dome of high pressure aloft will dominate our weather this week.

Occasionally, however, disturbances will ride along the northern edge of this ridge bringing thunderstorms to the area (and we will be on the northern edge of this ridge).

One of these upper-level disturbances will drop through the region tomorrow giving us a chance of thunderstorms.

It's possible that a few storms will produce damaging wind in excess of 60 mph or hail greater than 1" in diameter.

Meteorologist Jason Adams and I will keep you informed tomorrow on the status of any storms that do develop on NBC 25 News.
