Saginaw police say the fourth suspect in the deadly pre-prom shooting in May has been arrested.
Sgt. Reggie Williams tells NBC25 that several tips led to the arrest of Karon Thomas.
Thomas was formally charged Wednesday morning with assault with attempt to murder, three counts of felony fire arm, one count of carrying a dangerous weapon, and one count of first degree murder in the May 23rd pre-prom shooting that killed Tonquinisha McKinley.
Evellis McGee is also charged with conspiring to commit first-degree murder, assault with intent to murder and with firearm offenses.
Thomas as well as McGee are jailed on $1 million bond.
Two other suspects, Keon Bowens and Isaiah Clark, remain jailed on weapons charges.***End update***_________________________________________________________________________________________________
A third suspect charged in last month's deadly pre-prom shooting in Saginaw is now behind bars.
Saginaw police tell NBC25 17-year-old Keon Bowens turned himself in Thursday. Bowens faces an unlawful concealed weapons charge and a felony firearms charge. Lt. Randy Pfau with the Saginaw Co. Sheriffâ??s office said Bowens is lodged in the Saginaw County Jail on $1 million bond. Two other suspects were arraigned Monday for their alleged roles in the quadruple shooting that killed 17-year-old Tonquinisha McKinley may 23. Isaiah Clark, 24, of Saginaw is jailed on $1 million bond on four weapons charges. Evellis McGee, 20, is also being held on $1 million bond on three felony weapons charges, assault with intent to murder, bearing a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit pre-meditated murder.
The fourth suspect, Karon Thomas of Saginaw, remains at large.
