      Friday's rain looking unimpressive

Warmer weather this Labor Day weekend will come at a price. That is, we'll have to deal with some showers and thunderstorms.

A warm front will still approach tomorrow, but the amount of moisture along it looks limited.

At this point, we're just expecting a few sprinkles -- mainly in the morning and mainly northwest of the Tri-Cities.

Low pressure in the Plains will move across the Great Lakes on Saturday and Saturday night.

This low will drag a cold front across the Mitten with a better chance of showers and thunderstorms.
