      General Motors Foundation gives back to Flint

      The General Motors Foundation is donating $115,000.00 to improve the Flint community.

      The grant is being divided between 16 area charities:

      - Urban League of Flint- Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Flint- Flint River Watershed Coalition- Big Brothers-Big Sisters of Genesee County- Water & Woods Council, Boy Scouts of America- Girl Scouts of Southeast Michigan- Friends of Alfred Sloan Museum- YWCA of Greater Flint (Safe House)- Resource Genesee - Junior Achievement- Valley Area Agency on Aging- Food Bank of Eastern Michigan- Motherly Intercession- Flint Children??s Museum- Hispanic Technology Community Center- Wounded Warriors (Fenton High School)

      Jamie Gaskin of the Boys and Girls club of Greater Flint, said the club used the $10,000.00 grant to help make learning fun.
