Genesee Township volunteers working to clean up after tornado damage

Residents and volunteers are working to clean up after a tornado struck Genesee Township.

Business owners on Saginaw Street in Genesee Township clean up after a tornado ripped through the neighborhood last Tuesday.

Along with the Genesee County Sheriff's Cleanup Team, volunteers cleared away the mess that was left behind.

"There is a lot of work out here that needs to be done and everybody that came and pitched in is really great, really good," said Roy White, the owner of White's Car Wash.

Residents are also taking up donations to help those affected by the storm.
