GoFundMe launches contest to help raise money for Flint water crisis
So far, over $201,000 has been raised on GoFundMe for the Flint water crisis.
Sixty-eight campaigns have been created on the crowd funding website and over 5,000 donors have made monetary donations.
GoFundMe has announced a contest in response to the Flint water relief efforts. GoFundMe says they will make an extra donation of $10,000 to the campaign that raises the most money.
The contest began on Friday and will end January 29.

Flint switched its drinking water source from the Detroit system to the Flint River in April 2014 to save money while the cash-strapped city was led by an emergency manager appointed by the Republican governor. The city returned to Detroit water in October after testing detected increased lead levels in residential water supplies and in children's blood.
