As prices jump on everything from gas to food, Consumers Energy says it's bucking the trend.

According to the Consumers Energy website, their natural gas customers are already paying at least 10 percent less in natural gas costs than last year.

Beginning in April, theyâ??ll see an additional 15 percent price cut.

The company says over the past year, a typical family in Michigan has saved about $150 as a result of efforts to reduce gas fuel costs.

That savings would be even larger starting next month.

The company is also boasting, "Our team of more than 7,500 men and women work around the clock to bring safe, reliable and affordable energy to 6.6 million of Michiganâ??s 10 million residents. Helping Michigan save energy is our promise."
