Good times in Goodrich a success

Good Times in Goodrich attracted thousands of people over the weekend.

The small town parade, rides and vendors clogged the streets of Goodrich before slowing down for a Sunday morning church service by the Point Church.

Saturday night, businesses stayed open late while the community came out for an outdoor movie screening.

Event coordinators are calling the weekend a win for everyone.

"The vendors that we have are local crafts people. it gives them exposure that they don't normal get because they are not in retail stores and it boosts the local economy and it brings everybody a sense of community, its wonderful," said Jennifer McKenzie, chairperson.
