      Grand Blanc apartments get go-ahead from city council

      The proposed design of a 14-unit apartment building that was just approved by the Grand Blanc City Council.


      After months of contentious debate, a proposal for condo-style apartments in downtown Grand Blanc has been given the go-ahead.


      The Grand Blanc City Manager Paul Brake says site construction could begin as early as next month.


      The 14-unit apartment building is slated to go up behind a strip mall near the Indian Hill subdivision off Saginaw Street.
