Dozens of Grand Blanc neighbors turned out Sunday for a fundraiser for the Story family.
As you may recall, Katie Story died last month after a bout with cancer.
The Grand Blanc community came together to support Katie's daughters who attend Grand Blanc High School.
The owner of Great Harvest Bread Company on Perry Road stepped up to the plate, donating 100% of the day's proceeds to the Story family.
"I do it just because I can. Being a business owner and being a part of this community, Grand Blanc is one of the best places I've ever lived. The community comes together and we just support one another and I think it's just something we all need to do," said Scott Sassack, owner of Great Harvest Bread Company.
Sunday's proceeds will go toward a college fund for the story kids.
