A business roundtable launched a performance tracker for all 15 Michigan public universities.
"The Performance Tracker shows what a college education at a Michigan university will cost students, and the kind of outcomes universities produce for that investment," said Doug Rothwell, President and CEO of Business Leaders for Michigan, who put out the tracker.
Local universities fare well when compared nationally.
Central Michigan University shows that they have a better graduation and retention rate on average then their peers nationally, for example.
