Habitat warms the heart of one woman

They're strengthening neighborhoods, one house at a time.

On Monday Genesee County Habitat for Humanity began building their 100th home.

Over 50 GM volunteers will be working on the home all week.

Senator Robertson and Senator Ananich also picked up some tools and got to work.

It's the 14th home being built in the Foss Avenue neighborhood.

Carolyn Robinson who is the home owner says,"I am so grateful for everything that they have done for me. When I first started this they told me that they would be a family and they would stick with me through out all of this and they have done everything they said."

Robinson also says she'll roll up her sleeves and help build her home right along side volunteers.

The home will be completed and dedicated by October 7, 2013.
