Your next trip to get your burger fix could help improve lives affected by cancer.

All Genesee County Halo Burger locations will donate $1 from every Beefy Double Combo purchased during the month of October to Hurley’s Breast Health Navigation Fund.

The fund helps local women with financial support for things like bills and groceries for their families during and after breast cancer treatment.

Donations are also being accepted at the register.

“We are so thankful to Halo Burger for this generous offer. Every penny will help local women in their battle with breast cancer,” said Marsha Schmit, RN, BSN, CBCN, Hurley's Breast Health Nurse Navigator and breast cancer survivor.

“At Halo Burger, we are committed to this wonderful community and strive to be a good partner to it," said Chance Richie, CEO and owner of Halo Burger.
