So health insurers have extended the deadline for Obamacare premiums as late as Jan. 10. Now, premiums can be paid as late as Jan. 10, but coverage will still begin on New Year's Day.
While time to sign up is running out, Michigan State University Extension wants to help Michigan residents and businesses make the right health insurance decision. According to its website, MSU Extension has a team of educators that can assist individuals, families and employers in understanding the new health insurance rules and requirements, navigate the federal Health Insurance Marketplace, and make a decision that fits both health needs and financial realities.
