If you're an adult and feel the need to tip a few over the holiday weekend, a Saginaw chiropractor and healthy living expert says says stay away from light beer.
Dr. Dan Kehres, who's a frequent contributor to NBC 25 Today, isn't fond of grain-based beer. He prefers drinks like like gluten-free Angry Orchard Hard Cider. He says if adults are drinking beer, the darker beer, like Guinness, is actually better for you. He admits too much of all of this and you can develop a beer-belly.
When it comes to wine, Dr. Kehres sang the praises of dry, red wine. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are the best.
As for alcohol, he likes grape vodka.
He cautions against under-age drinking, and warns everybody about driving while under the influence.
