Heavy rain is being blamed for a roof collapse at a bakery in Saginaw.
No one was injured in the Monday night collapse at Spatz's Bakery, which came as heavy rain hit the state.
Workers arrived about 8:30 p.m. Monday to bake for Tuesday morning and the roof collapsed about a half hour later. General manager Marcia Mattfeld says the rafters were held up by an oven inside the bakery.
Mattfeld says the bakery will be closed for an undetermined period of time while contractors clean up the water and repair the roof.
