Just one week after George Zimmerman was found not guilty on murder charges in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, thousands gathered across the country for rallies in support on the unarmed teenager.
Here in mid-Michigan hundreds gathered to speak out about why they feel the verdict is an injustice for Martin.
Many parents brought their children to the rally.
â??Itâ??s sad that we have to have the federal courts come in when,â?? says Wiley Stocker who brought his grandson to the rally. â??Justice is elusive sometimes,â?? he adds.
Rallies like the one in Flint, also took place in New York City, Chicago and Tallahassee, Florida.
