Inmates help board houses in advance of 'Angels' Night' in Saginaw

Boarded up houses in Saginaw.

The Michigan Department of Corrections and the City of Saginaw are joining forces for "Project Build" to help clean up the streets.

Inmates from the Saginaw Correctional Facility, in Freeland, hit the streets to help board up houses on the city's east side in preparation for 'Angels' Night'.

The prisoners have backgrounds in construction and landscaping.

The goal of the initiative is to help prevent crime, but also help change the face of the city.
