Jury selection for the trial of accused serial killer Elias Abuelazam continues on Thursday with more than 80 potential jurors scheduled to undergo questioning.
Judge Judith Fullerton along with attorneys from both sides spent the last two days trying to narrow down a list of 115 potential jurors, according to MLive.
The first two days of questioning elimiated those who had formed a strong bias based on the media coverage. Thursay's proceedings will gain further background information on the potential jurors.
Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton beleives a jury can be found within the county. If things continue to go according to plan, opening arguments could start as early as Tuesday.
