The NWS has finished their survery of the tornado that moved through St. Charles yesterday. The damage was the result of an EF-1 tornado, with winds between 90 and 100 mph. It was on the ground for 5 miles and had a maximum width of 300 yards. More information from the NWS survey can be found here.
The Detroit/Pontiac National Weather Service has just confirmed the damage in St. Charles from yesterday's severe storm is the result of an EF-1 tornado. Wind speeds range between 86 mph and 110 mph in EF-1 twisters. More information will be available later today as the NWS continues their survery of the damaged area. We'll keep you posted.
