A local jury found him guilty of murder. Now Buena Vista Township police officer Kenneth Bluew is expected to be sentenced to life in prison. Bluew was convicted of the murder of his pregnant girlfriend, Jennifer Webb back in August of 2011.

Bluew was convicted on four counts after a jury deliberated for 2 hours.

Her mom says she's happy it's over, but that won't bring her back.

Prosecutor Mike Thomas called it the most gruesome crime he's ever dealt with. Bluew will be in a Saginaw County courtroom for the sentencing for crimes that require a life sentence.

The sentencing will take place at 2:30 at the Saginaw County Courthouse.
