L.A. Clippers owner banned for life from NBA

Donald Sterling

Donald Sterling, the owner of the L.A. Clippers, has been banned by the NBA from attending any games, visiting any NBA facility, or participating in any NBA activity of any kind for the rest of his life.

Additionally, Sterling has been fined $2.5 million.

The commissioner of the NBA, Adam Silver, said in a news conference that they believe the voice heard on the recordings are Sterling and referred to the comments as "hateful."

Silver went on to say he will try and force Sterling to sell the Clippers.

All of this follows racist comments believed to have been made by Sterling.
