At just 8 years old, Rose Muennix knows what it means to give. She is just the cutest little girl and I had so much fun getting to know her.

Rose is the NBC25 Great Kid of the Month for March. And boy does she deserve to be recognized!

For the last two years, Rose has donated her birthday presents to Toys for Tots .

"I invited all of my friends and then I said you can bring girl and boy toys and then we filled up carts full of toys I got," Rose explained. Afterward she donated all of them to Toys for Tots. "Because there's kids out there who need toys and they haven't got stuff from Santa and the don't have much money."

Rose recently grew out her hair long enough to donate to Locks for Love . "It takes eight to ten pony tales to make one wig," Rose said. "They (Locks for Love) help the kids who have cancer."

Sarah Muennix, Rose's mother couldn't be more proud of her little girl for all she has done and for also being recognized as NBC25's Great Kid of the Month. "We are very excited for her because she does a lot of good things and it's nice to see her be recognized for it."

As NBC25's Great Kid of the Month, Rose wins a one night stay and four pack of passes to enjoy Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark at Boyne Mountain.
