Local school pass millage renewals, bonding proposals

Several school districts in our area asked local residents to vote yes on bonding proposals and millage extensions in their districts Tuesday night.
In Genesee County, Fenton voters approved a bonding proposal to for school and technology upgrades.
Voters in the Grand Blanc School District voted to renew the schools building and sinking fund levy for another five years.
And voters in Mount Morris also approved a renewal of their building and sinking fund levy for 10 years.
In Saginaw County, the Chesaning Union School District put two proposals in front of voters, both passed.
The money will go to fund site improvements at all schools and a new auxillary gym at the high school.
