A local teenager says she's ready for her close-up. 14 year old Margaux Welman is ready to enter Heritage High School in the fall. But before she heads to high school, fame awaits.
Wellman suffers from Cerebral Palsy. She's the reigning national Junior Miss You Can Do It, a pagent for girls with special needs. Wellman plays a role in the new HBO documentary "Miss you Can Do It".
It's broadcast premiere is tonight (Monday) June 24 at 9 pm.
The producers of the documentary flew Margaux and her mom Linda, to New York City for the premiere. Pretty heady stuff for a 14 year old kid. They appeared together for NBC 25 Today.
