Lt. Gov. Brian Calley has rung the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange/Euronet in Amsterdam as he and a delegation from Michigan continue their six-day trade mission to The Netherlands.
The state said in a release that Tuesday's ceremony opened the day's trading session.
The Michigan delegation of state and local officials, business people and economic development experts also will travel this week to The Hague and the Zeeland provincial government where they will meet with executives of financial institutions, advanced agricultural production and technology companies.
They also will host a meeting with automotive suppliers.
Calley and the others left Michigan on Saturday. They return Friday.
