Man arrested after striking, shooting car

A suspect was arrested by the Saginaw Police Department and the Michigan State Police for assault with attempt to murder.

It happened last night around 9 pm on Webster near Holland.

The suspect, police say, struck and shot the passenger door of a car with someone inside. The victim was able to give the police a description of the suspect.

Later, officers spotted a person matching the suspect's description walking near where the incident happened.

The police performed a pat-down on subject and found that he was carrying a gun.

The Michigan State Police said the suspect, who is a 15-year-old male from Saginaw, was arrested for assault with intent to murder.
