Man charged in Clare County armed robbery

CLARE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- The man accused of robbing a restaurant worker at gunpoint has been arraigned.

Investigators said Adam Pitt, 31 of Farwell, held a worker of Farwell Buccilli's Restaurant at gunpoint while demanding the restaurant's nightly deposits on Saturday.

Officials said Pitt left the scene on foot and was found hiding in the bushes behind the Farwell Elementary School.

Pitt is charged with armed robbery and felony firearms.

He is being held on a $800,000 cash bond.

Pitt is due back in court on May 3.
