Saginaw Police want to bring in a man for questioning for the suspicious death of Angelica Olivarez Monday.

24-year-old Michael Lawrence, police say, is also wanted in another, unrelated, homicide case of a six-year-old in August of 2012.

Our records indicate six-year-old Lay'la Jones was shot and killed last August in the front yard of a house on Essling Street.

Lawrence was one of four men charged in connection with Lay'la's death. Lawrence was charged with pre-meditated murder.

Now police also want him for questioning in the suspicious death of his girlfriend.

Lawrence and his girlfriend's three-year-old son was found wandering the neighborhood after the incident and police believe he was on his own for hours after the death of his mother.

Lawrence is believed to be driving a 2002 Dodge Neon, light blue or turquoise. It has Michigan plates with the number 8HRP88.

Police describe him as a black male, 5'10" tall and 160 lbs with brown or black eyes. He is 24-years-old.

If you see Lawrence or his vehicle or have any information as to his whereabouts you are asked to call (989) 326-7595 or send a Facebook message to

Police advise people to use extreme caution as police believe him to be armed.
