Man charged in Tanisha Colton's death to undergo a psychiatric evaluation

The man charged with killing 27-year-old Tanisha Colton is going to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

Henry Conner, 28, is due in court in late August in order to determine if he is competent for trial.

Conner, police say, killed Colton, then drugged her children and drove them down to Toledo, along with the body of their mother. When his attempt to get a hotel room there failed, he drove back toward Flint.

Along the way, according to authorities, he dumped Colton's body in a ditch.
