Neighbors we spoke with say they want the violence to end.
"In the last two years it's been tragedy over this way, don't even know what for," says resident Jackie Sangster.
This marks the seventeenth homicide in Saginaw this year and according to NBC 25's records the third in this neighborhood.
Nearby residents say years ago, the neighborhood was much different.
"We could go up and down the street and play. Wasn't no killing, shooting, no drive by's, and all of that," says Sangster.
The recent deaths of six-year-old Lay'la Jones ad 21-year-old Bobby Bailey both occurred in nearby homes.
"This generation coming up aint going to be no generation this is just a fallen generation right now."
