Investigators say on October 30th, Slavik strangled, bit and repeatedly punched the 2-year old victim causing life-threatening injuries. The incident happened on the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation in Isabella County, less than two months after Slavik was sentenced for child abuse of the same 2-year old.
No date has been set for sentencing. Slavik faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years to life in prison
