Firefighters battling a blaze on Detroit's east side were threatened by a man with a gun who didn't want to drive around the block to avoid their equipment.
Firefighter Bruce McMurtry tells The Detroit News that the man pulled out the weapon Sunday morning when told he couldn't roll over hoses stretched across the street.
McMurtry says he was removing his gear when he heard his truck's driver yell "`Gun!"'
McMurtry says the man "was waving the gun" and "aiming at people." No shots were fired.
The man drove over the hoses and parked outside a nearby house. He had left the area by the time police arrived.
