MDOT issues April construction advisory for I-75 in Bay and Saginaw Counties, including the Zilwaukee Bridge

      Construction begins this April in Saginaw and Bay Counties on I-75

      The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has released the April schedule of construction on the Zilwaukee Bridge and I-75.

      MDOT is reconstructing 4 miles of I-75 as well as working on the Zilwaukee Bridge as part of a two-year plan.

      April 3 to April 5

      In Bay County the far right lane on northbound I-75 between Prevo and Coggins Roads will be closed, however all exits will remain open.

      April 1 to April 27

      Southbound I-75 is closed from the north junction of I-675 to the south junction of I-675, with all southbound traffic being detoured to southbound I-675.

      The M-13 ramp to southbound I-75 is closed, with traffic being rerouted to I-675.

      The M-81 ramp to southbound I-75 is closed, with traffic being redirected to M-13 and then to southbound I-675.

      The Adams Street ramp to southbound I-75 is also closed. Traffic will be detoured to Tittabawassee Road, then to I-675.

      The northbound I-675 ramp to southbound I-75 is closed. Motorists can take northbound I-75 to M-84 to access southbound I-75.
