With over 300,000 people in Michigan still without power, crews from all over the country are coming in to help restore power.
At the Conlee Mobile gas station in Birch Run, NBC25 spoke with the crews, some of which are coming from as far away as Tennessee.
Asplundh's Tree Experts have come in from Akron, Ohio. They brought over 60 crews that are now working 16-hour days. They expect to be here through Saturday.
Corey Parsons, a supervisor with Asplundh's, said that they remove limbs from power lines so that Consumers Energy can then repair the lines.
Parsons said his crew had just finished in Holly and are now heading to Linden and Fenton.
Besides this crew from Akron, there were also crews at the gas station from Tennessee and Columbus, Ohio.
Watch the video to see Parsons talk about how the crews will be working on Christmas Day, away from their homes, in order to perform this utility line clearance.
