Meeting focused on issues surrounding death of Michael Brown

Residents, supporters and community leaders had an opportunity to talk about the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.

Brown was fatally shot by a police officer in Ferguson early August. His death sparked a national outcry and lead to protests and movements throughout the nation.

FOX45 hosted a national town hall meeting Aug. 27 to examine the issues raised by Brownâ??s death.

Panel members included author and commentator Roland Martin, political commentator Armstrong Williams, Tessa Hill-Aston, president of the Baltimore Branch of the NAACP and former Maryland Transportation Authority Police Chief G. McLhinney.
