All eyes were glued to 24-year-old Michael Lawrence as he entered a Saginaw courtroom Tuesday afternoon. He was arraigned before Judge Terry Clark to hear the 23 charges he faces in the April death of 23-year-old Angelica Olivarez, the mother of Lawrence??s child, and the August 2012 death of Lay??la Jones.
Lawrence showed no emotion before Judge Clark, who took more than five minutes to read all the counts including felony murder, weapons charges, child abandonment and a slew of other charges.
Prosecutor John McColgan called Lawrence an ??extreme threat?? and a flight risk.
After the arraignment, Olivarez??s family expressed anger.

??I hate him for what he did," Olivarez??s mother, Theresa Medel, said.
Lawrence's cousin showed up to the arraignment, but he was asked to wait outside and told the courtroom was full.
Dammess Patillo said, ??I'm sorry for everybody, but at the same time, this is my cousin.
??We??re out here too, we??re hurting too, we??re suffering too,?? he said.
Lawrence said he will hire his own lawyer and is set to be back in court Wed., Oct. 9.
He is being held in the Saginaw County Jail without bond.
