      Michigan State Police graduate, more being recruited

      here are eighty-two new State Troopers following Friday's graduation.

      overnor Rick Snyder served as the keynote speaker at the ceremony.


      115 prospective troopers reported to MSP training academy on January 5th when the 126th Trooper Recruit School Began.


      Twenty-one weeks late

      r
      82 made it through.



      Some of the training included
      firearms, water safety, defensive tactics, patrol techniques and ethics.

      his addition comes as Flint's Emergency Manager proposes laying off 36 police officers from the city's force.



      F

      lint will now have 54 state troopers assisting its police department.
