Michigan State Police Trooper involved in Flint crash

A Michigan State Police Trooper has been involved in an accident on Flint's north side.

The Michigan State Police are investigating an accident involving one of their own on Flint's north side.

Just before 4:30 p.m. Thursday, a MSP trooper and a truck collided at the corner of Pierson Road and North Street.

The trooper's cruiser suffered front end damage.

The truck rolled and ended up coming to a rest in a front yard near the intersection.

At least one person was given CPR at the scene, and several victims are being treated at local hospitals.

Pierson Road at North Street was closed in both directions during the investigation.

According to our records, this is the second time in the last month a Michigan State Police cruiser has been involved in a crash in the City of Flint.
