Fri, 20 Apr 2012 22:41:10 GMT — The weekend will be a chilly one at times, so make sure you keep your coat close at hand. The good news on the weekend weather across the entire state of Michigan is it will be dry. You don't need the umbrella or rain coat. Although there will be occasional sunshine, the dominant feature will be a northeast wind. In fact, as a strong storm develops along the east coast, a northeast wind will strengthen here. Not only will you want to keep the coat handy, forget about boating on the Saginaw Bay or Lake Huron. Waves are expected to run between three and nine feet. That means if you want to take the boat for a run, stay on the Saginaw River, and bundle up.
