MIDLAND, Mich. - A Midland-based business received a nearly $1 million grant Monday.

Rightanswer.com was awarded phase two small business innovation research grant by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The nearly $1 million grant will fund the research and development of a mobile application that offers information about the risks of medications during pregnancy.

"This is where we can really intervene with the right information and really help them and solve those problems and at least get them the best information available so they can help that woman make the best decision and hopefully have the best outcome for them and their child," said company representative Glen Markham.

The money awarded should last for about two years of research.
