Midland police arrest woman in connection with bank robbery


Midland Police have arrested a 42-year-old Rose City woman in connection with a Midland bank robbery. The woman is being held in the Midland County Jail awaiting arraignment for the May 1 robbery of the Comerica Bank. Midland police are looking for a woman suspected of robbing a bank Wednesday morning. Police say a white female entered the Saginaw and East branch of Comerica Bank around 9:43 a.m. and demanded money.

The suspect is described as in her 40s, about 5-foot-2 or 4, about 180 pounds, with dark brown hair just past her shoulders. She was described wearing a blue and white baseball cap, a green Pizza Samâ??s shirt with the number 8 on the back, black pants, white shoes, and she was carrying a black purse with a long shoulder strap. She was seen driving a red car.

Police say no weapons were threatened or observed. The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
