MIDLAND, Mich. – The season of giving continued Monday in Midland.

Thousands of gifts were delivered to the Blessed Sacrament Church for hundreds of volunteers to hand out.

For the 27th year, the United Way of Midland County Sharing Tree program will help the community meet holiday wishes for those in need.

Volunteers worked with 50 local agencies to check in the gifts and distribute them to local agencies.

"This is a great way for people to get into the holiday spirit, kick it off by giving back to the community and it just puts everybody in a great holiday spirit,” said community relations specialist Caleb Guthrie.

And there's something new and really cool this year.

If you are interested in donating, you can purchase gifts online through the Sharing Tree Impact Store.

The store will remain open until December 22.
