After temperatures in the 20s for highs and teens for lows this weekend (which are near to slightly below average for this time of year), we expect another Arctic front to sweep through on Sunday evening.
This front will bring us a chance of snow showers with minor accumulation on Sunday.
Behind this front, expect temperatures to plunge into the teens and even single digits for highs for all of next week.
Although no major snow storms are expected with this Arctic blast, our long range models suggest another, more powerful surge of bitterly cold air is coming for the Sunday/Monday time frame of the following week which could trigger another snow storm in the northern US.
We'll keep you posted on that possibility as more information comes in.
