A search for a missing 3-year-old boy in Saginaw has ended with him being found.
Saginaw police, along with Saginaw County Sheriff reserves, Michigan State Police and all available units were involved in the search, according to Lt. Mike Gomez of the Saginaw County Sheriff’s Department.
The search took place in a wooded area by Riverside Boulevard near the Greenpoint Nature Center along the Tittabawassee River.
Neighbors in the area also helped with the search.
Our crew arrived on scene just as the announcement came that the child had been found.
Those involved with the search relayed the news of the find down the road to each other excitedly, saying "they found him!"
“Praise Jesus,” one neighbor was heard to exclaim.
MSP also provided a chopper for the search.
It is still unclear when the child went missing or when the search began.
