T he number of residents displaced after a Mother's Day fire at a Flint apartment complex has gone up.
R ed Cross workers met with residents from Centerview Apartments Monday -- that's near the corner of Davison and Center Roads. Officials from the Flint Housing Commission were also on site and tell us there are now about 70 residents displaced. They say most of the damage was on the third floor.
S moke and water damage to the bottom floors forced more residents to leave their homes.
" W e do have 48 units that have been displaced we are working as quickly as possible to get them cleaned up with different agencies and we're hoping to get residents back as soon as possible ," said Adena Tullar with the Flint Housing Commission.
T he fire remains under investigation.
