Tuesday's active weather with 6 tornado touchdowns caused by two parent thunderstorms looks to be over with, at least temporarily.
The warm front that helped trigger yesterday's storms has lifted to the north of the area, which will lead to hot, humid weather on Thursday.
There is a slight chance of storms late Thursday afternoon into the evening, but the threat of severe weather should hold off until Friday when a strong jetstream interacts with a cold front to our west.
The storm chances will linger on Saturday, then cooler weather with just showers greets us on Sunday.
A cool, stable area of high pressure will influence our weather early next week.
